Managing Trade Commissions
Commission is the percentage of each sale that your trade partners earn. Managing commissions properly ensures partners are fairly compensated and your business remains profitable.
How commissions work
When a trade partner makes a booking:
Customer pays the full retail price
You receive the booking and payment
Partner earns their commission on the sale
You pay the commission to the partner (or deduct from their remittance)
Example:
Tour price: $500
Commission rate: 15%
Partner earns: $75
You keep: $425
