Sales Invoicing

Create, send, and track sales invoices for your tourism business — with Stripe payment collection built in.

Written by Hayden Zammit Meaney

Launchpad's invoicing tools let you create professional invoices for any sale — group bookings, consulting fees, trade commissions, or products. Invoices can be paid online via Stripe, saving you the admin of chasing payments manually.

Accessing sales invoicing

Go to Sales Hub and select Invoices. You can also access invoicing via CRM Hub > Invoices for client-linked billing.

Creating an invoice

  1. Click New Invoice.

  2. Select or enter the client details.

  3. Add line items — description, quantity, and unit price for each item or service.

  4. Set the GST treatment: inclusive (price includes GST) or exclusive (GST added on top).

  5. Add a due date and any payment terms or notes.

  6. Click Save as Draft to review, or Send Invoice to deliver it immediately.

Getting paid

  1. If you have connected Stripe, your invoice includes a Pay Now button that accepts credit and debit cards.

  2. When payment is received, the invoice status updates automatically to Paid.

  3. For bank transfer payments, manually mark the invoice as paid from the invoice detail page.

Tracking invoice status

The invoices list shows each invoice's status: Draft, Sent, Viewed, Paid, Overdue, or Cancelled. Filter by status to identify unpaid invoices that need follow-up.

Tips

  • Connect Stripe before you start sending invoices — online payment increases the likelihood of prompt payment significantly.

  • Set a due date of 14 days for most invoices. Same-day or 7-day terms are appropriate for immediate services.

  • If an invoice is overdue, use the Send Reminder button — a polite automated reminder is less awkward than a personal follow-up for minor overdue amounts.

  • Invoices created from Proposals automatically carry across the itemised line items — no double data entry.
