How to use it
Creating a New Project
On the Project Management screen, click the + New Project or Create Project button.
In the pop-up window or new page, enter a descriptive name for your project in the Project Name field (e.g., "Client X - New Eco-Tour Development" or "Marketing Campaign for Y Hotel").
If this project is for an existing client, select the client from the Client dropdown menu or search bar. If it's a new client, create one on the spot or add them later. Linking a client helps keep all your client-specific projects neatly grouped.
In the Description text area, write a brief overview of the project's goals, scope, or any important notes.
If the project has a final due date, select the target completion date from the Due Date field with the calendar icon.
Click the Save or Create Project button.
Adding Tasks
After saving, you'll be taken to your new project's page.
Click Add Task or New Task to break your project down into smaller steps.
For each task, add:
Task Name: (e.g., "Research competitor eco-tours," "Draft social media posts," "Schedule client review meeting.")
Assignee: Who is responsible for this task?
Due Date: When does this specific task need to be finished?
Status: Is it "To Do," "In Progress," or "Complete"?
Continue adding all the tasks needed to complete your project.
Update the status of each task to provide a clear picture of progress.
Tips
Break down large projects into smaller tasks to make progress feel achievable and keep you motivated. For example, "Develop a new website for a client" can be broken into "Gather client testimonials," "Select website template," "Write About Us page copy," and "Review website draft."
Use realistic due dates. It's better to set a slightly longer, achievable deadline than to constantly miss ambitious ones.
Update task statuses regularly (daily or every few days) to keep your project overview accurate and make reporting to clients easier.
Attach all important files directly to the project or relevant tasks, such as client brand guidelines or a mood board for a new experience.
If you find yourself doing similar types of projects often (e.g., "Social Media Campaign Setup"), create a template with common tasks pre-filled to save time.
Use the notes and communication features within the project to keep everyone informed and on the same page.
