Resolve login issues to maintain uninterrupted access to Tourism Accelerator. Tourism operators can quickly reset forgotten passwords or troubleshoot multi-factor authentication, ensuring continuous management of bookings and guest communications, which helps maintain customer satisfaction.

Accessing this feature

The primary point of access and recovery for your account is the Tourism Accelerator Launchpad login page: Tourism Accelerator Launchpad. From this page, you can initiate password resets and manage login attempts.

How to use it

To resolve account access issues, follow these systematic steps:

Verify Your Credentials

  1. Carefully re-enter your registered email address and password. Pay close attention to capitalisation and special characters.

  2. Ensure the correct email address associated with your Tourism Accelerator account is used. Often, a typo or using an alternative email address can prevent successful login.

Reset Your Password

  1. If you have forgotten your password, go to the login page and click the Forgot Password? or Reset Password link.

  2. Enter your registered email address when prompted. An email containing a password reset link will be sent to this address.

  3. Check your inbox, including your spam or junk folders, as the email may occasionally be filtered.

  4. Click the link within the email and follow the instructions to create a new, strong password. This link is typically time-sensitive, so complete the process promptly.

Check Your Email and Spam Folders

When initiating a password reset or dealing with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) codes, always check your email inbox and specifically your spam or junk mail folders. Email filters can sometimes misclassify legitimate system emails. Ensure the sending domain (@tourismaccelerator.com.au) is allowlisted if you have strict email security settings.

Troubleshoot Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Issues

Clear Browser Cache and Cookies

  1. Outdated cached data or corrupted cookies in your web browser can interfere with login processes.

  2. Access your browser settings or history menu.

  3. Locate the option to Clear browsing data, Clear cache, or Clear cookies.

  4. Select a timeframe that includes All time for a thorough clear.

  5. After clearing, close and reopen your browser before attempting to log in again. This ensures a fresh connection to the platform.

Try a Different Browser or Incognito/Private Mode

Browser extensions, specific settings, or persistent issues within your current browser can sometimes prevent access. Attempt to log in using a different web browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari). Alternatively, open an Incognito (Chrome), Private (Firefox/Edge), or Private Browsing (Safari) window and try logging in. This mode typically disables extensions and does not use cached data or cookies from your regular browsing session.

Account Locked Out

Repeated failed login attempts, particularly with incorrect passwords or MFA codes, can trigger an account lockout for security purposes. The lockout duration is typically specified in the error message. Wait for the designated period before attempting to log in again. Do not continue to attempt logging in during a lockout period, as this may extend the lockout duration. If the lockout persists or you require immediate access, refer to the Need help? section below.

Tips

  • Implement Strong, Unique Passwords: Create complex passwords that combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using easily guessable information and ensure each online account has a unique password to prevent credential stuffing attacks. Consider using a reputable password manager to securely store and generate strong passwords.

  • Enable and Maintain Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Activate MFA for an additional layer of security. Regularly verify that your MFA method (e.g., authenticator app, SMS number) is current and accessible. Keep a record of any backup codes provided during MFA setup in a secure, offline location.

  • Keep Recovery Information Up-to-Date: Ensure the recovery email address and phone number associated with your account are current and accessible. This information is crucial for password resets and MFA recovery.

  • Regularly Clear Browser Data: Periodically clear your browser's cache and cookies, or configure your browser to do so automatically upon exit. This prevents accumulation of outdated data that can cause login conflicts.

  • Bookmark the Login Page: Save the direct link to the Tourism Accelerator Launchpad login page in your browser bookmarks. This prevents accidental navigation to phishing sites and ensures you always access the legitimate portal.

  • Monitor your account activity for any unexpected login attempts or notifications, and report any suspicious activity to support immediately.

  • Avoid Sharing Credentials: Never share your login credentials with anyone, including colleagues or support personnel. Support staff will never ask for your password.
