The Contractor Portal gives you a clear view of what you've earned and when you can expect payment. This guide shows you how to access and understand your earnings information.
Accessing Your Earnings
Sign in to the Contractor Portal at
/contractorClick on Earnings in your dashboard, or look for the earnings summary panel
You'll see an overview of your current and past earnings
Understanding Your Earnings Dashboard
Your earnings dashboard provides several key pieces of information:
Current Period Summary
At the top, you'll see a summary of the current pay period:
Hours worked — Total hours logged this period
Pending approval — Hours submitted but not yet approved
Approved — Hours confirmed and ready for payment
Estimated earnings — Your expected payment based on approved hours
Payment History
Below the summary, you'll find your payment history showing:
Column | Description |
Pay Period | The dates covered by the payment |
Hours | Total hours paid |
Gross Amount | Total earnings before any deductions |
Payment Date | When the payment was or will be processed |
Status | Pending, Processing, or Paid |
Viewing Detailed Breakdowns
To see a detailed breakdown of any pay period:
Click on the pay period you want to review
You'll see a list of all assignments included
Each entry shows the operator, hours, rate, and amount
Subtotals are provided for each operator if you work with multiple
Understanding Your Pay Rates
Your earnings are calculated based on:
Base hourly rate — Your standard rate for regular hours
Overtime rates — Higher rates for hours beyond the standard (if applicable)
Special rates — Weekend, public holiday, or after-hours premiums (varies by operator)
Check your contractor agreement or profile for your specific rates.
Tracking Pending Payments
To see what payments are coming:
Navigate to your earnings dashboard
Look for the Upcoming Payments section
You'll see estimated payment dates and amounts
Note that payment timing depends on:
The operator's pay schedule
When your timesheet was approved
Your payment method processing time
Filtering Your Earnings
You can filter your earnings view to find specific information:
By date range — View earnings for specific periods
By operator — See earnings from a particular tourism business
By status — Filter by pending, approved, or paid
Use these filters to quickly find the information you need.
Downloading Earnings Statements
Need a record of your earnings for tax or personal records?
Go to your earnings dashboard
Select the period you want to download
Click Download Statement or the download icon
Choose your format (PDF is recommended for records)
Keep these statements for your tax records and personal accounting.
Earnings vs. Payments
It's helpful to understand the difference:
Earnings — The amount you've earned based on approved hours
Payments — The actual money transferred to your account
There's typically a short delay between approval and payment, depending on the operator's pay cycle.
