Understanding the Calendar

Your calendar is the heart of your Tourism Accelerator experience. It gives you a clear, visual overview of all your bookings, helping you stay organised and prepared for every guest interaction.

Accessing Your Calendar

  • Log in to your Tourism Accelerator dashboard

  • Click Calendar in the main navigation menu

  • Your calendar will display with today's date highlighted

Calendar Layout

When you first open your calendar, you'll see:

  • Date navigation at the top, allowing you to move between days, weeks, and months

  • View toggles to switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views

  • Booking cards displayed on their scheduled dates, colour-coded by status

  • Quick actions for creating new bookings directly from the calendar

Colour-Coded Booking Status

Your bookings are colour-coded to help you identify their status at a glance:

  • Green: Confirmed and paid bookings

  • Yellow: Pending bookings awaiting payment or confirmation

  • Blue: Partially paid bookings

  • Red: Cancelled bookings

  • Grey: Completed past bookings

Quick Tips for Calendar Success

  • Start each day by reviewing your calendar to see what's coming up

  • Use the weekly view to plan staffing and resource allocation

  • Click any booking to view full details or make changes

  • Set up reminders so you never miss an important booking

What You Can Do From the Calendar

From your calendar view, you can:

  • Create new manual bookings by clicking on a date

  • View and edit existing booking details

  • Send confirmation emails to guests

  • Process payments and refunds

  • Add internal notes for your team

Your calendar automatically syncs with online bookings from your website, so you'll always have an up-to-date view of your schedule.
