How to use it
Checking the Link
Check the link. A typo can cause problems.
Is every character correct?
Does it start with `https://`? If it starts with `http://`, add the 's' to make it `https://`.
Is it the complete address from your booking system?
In your listing editor, re-enter your booking link into the Booking Link field.
If unsure, go to your booking system (e.g., Rezdy, Bookit, your website's booking page) in a new browser tab.
Copy the URL from your browser's address bar on the exact page you want customers to land on for booking.
Paste this accurate link into the Booking Link field.
Click the Save or Update Listing button. Important.
Testing the Link
Test the link directly.
Paste the link into a new browser tab.
Observe the result.
Does it load your booking page correctly? If great, the link is likely correct.
Do you see an error message? If so, the problem is with the link itself or your external booking system. Check your booking system's settings or contact their support.
Does it load a different page? The link may point to an incorrect page.
If the link fails, the issue lies with the address or your booking platform. Obtain the correct booking link.
Clearing Your Browser's Cache
Clear your browser's cache. Your computer or phone caches web pages to load them faster. If you've changed the link, your browser may be displaying the old version. This is simple:
On most browsers (like Chrome, Firefox, Edge): Press Ctrl + Shift + R (on Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (on Mac). This performs a hard refresh.
Alternatively: Go to your browser's settings and clear browsing data, selecting "Cached images and files".
Return to your Tourism Accelerator listing and test the link again.
Checking Your External Booking System
It's important to check your booking system is running smoothly.
Log in to your booking platform (e.g., Rezdy, Bookit, your website's admin area).
Is everything normal? Are experiences available? Are there alerts from your booking provider?
Test the booking process on your platform.
If your external booking system isn't working, that is the problem. Contact their support team.
